1. Rental Duration:
All rented equipment must be returned within the agreed upon date.
Late returns will be viewed as if the customer is renting for extra time. Will be charged at the same original rental rate for each additional day the item(s) are not returned.
2. Customer Responsibility:
The customer is responsible for all rented items from the time of pickup/delivery until the time they are returned.
Rented items must be returned in the same condition as they were received (clean, undamaged, and functional).
No rental insurance cover is provided as part of this rental. Customer agrees to indemnify Prestons Party Hire from any claims or losses because of the hire.
3. Damages & Replacement:
The customer is to inspect items at the start of rental for their own satisfaction.
The customer is liable for any loss or damage to the equipment during the rental period.
Charges for damages will be based on repair costs or replacement value, depending on the extent of damage.
If equipment is lost or beyond repair, full replacement cost will apply.
4. Payment:
All rental fees must be paid in full prior to or at the time of equipment pickup/delivery.
A refundable security deposit/bond and a deposit on the items must be paid at the time of booking confirmation.
Any additional fees for late returns or damages must be settled within 5 business days of notification.
5. Cancellation & Refunds:
Stock for items is limited and once confirmed and paid for, those items are reserved for that customer and cannot be booked by others. Hence cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled pickup/delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee (up to the full booking amount)
